Eric #17 -- Stolen Card ?

Can someone ask Eric #17 to call home or ask if his card has been stolen. He can leave a message if we're not home when he calls.

He had been spending in a somewhat regular fashion, but yesterday and today there were a lot of purchases at higher amounts.

Have you heard from him at all? I hope all is well. Let us know when you hear from Eric.

I actually got nervous because charges from Great Britain are still showing up on Kirk's card, but I'm pretty sure it's because some of the shops just take a while to submit the charges. They weren't large, and they are all from places he visited. It's just odd to see charges from London when I know he's been in France for a few days.

When I speak to Tyler today I will ask him to have Eric and Kirk call home. He usually calls when they are already in their hotel room so it probably won't be until tomorrow.
Hopefully Tyler gave Dylan the message and he called home today.

Thank you so much. We have talked to Eric a couple times and he did not mention anything but the last time we talked was Saturday. He did email this morning but we had not asked yet about the card and he did not mention anything. I appreciate you passing along a message for him to call. The charges just seem too large and too many all in one day. Hopefully all is well and we will keep you posted.

Nancy, check the locations. Are they all from France? Like I stated, I still have charges from the UK showing up with a more recent date. I don't know what card you're using, but Kirk's is a AAA Visa travel money card. I do realize that the charges don't show up in 'real time.' But three days later seemed like a lot. I'm not too terribly concerned as the amounts weren't very large. i think if someone had swiped his card they'd be using it like crazy.

Thanks, Lisa. Try not to make it sound like I'm overly alarmed! I don't want to stress Kirk out. :o)

Thanks Clare. Yes, all the charged were from France. There have been 11 charges over 2 days totally $430 dollars!! His account is now empty. One charge was $95 and another $133. This is totally not like him. Up until that point his largest purchase was about $50 and one cash withdrawal. This is why we are concerned. From what you said it sounds like Kirk is probably fine. Who knows, maybe the shopping in Paris was just too good to pass up and I am getting something fabulous LOL. Thanks for your help and we will keep you posted.

Ouch! You're right, that just doesn't seem normal, from what you said. I'd be very concerned, too. :o/ Hope it turns out well for you.

Could you call Elizabeth's husband and get the number of that emergency phone that P2P gave her for the trip? Not sure at this point if you can get your money back if you report the card as stolen, but it won't hurt to try. I'd think the sooner you find out the better you'll feel, either way.
