Jessica said they are all in different groups and all doing different things and are not always together , so it seems are kids are all having different experiences and doing different things. I thought they were all together all the time as a "group".

As I remember from before sometimes they split up into smaller groups each with one leader for a while. However, they also do things in the large group as well. It depends on the specific activity. There will still be a lot of time spent together as a large group.
Yep Jessica mentioned that just talked to her on the phone.. they do big things together, but split into smaller groups and hence that is how she missed shopping. She did go to a gift shop once in the castle but not shopping in the little town they were in. Just talked to her. she said the Hotel is lovely, very modern. They are all having downtime hanging out with each other.
