I just talked to Kristen...She is Loving France...especially the food. She says "Dad...French Bread is Great". She said Normandy was great...she learned alot about WW II history today. They visited the Soldiers Cemetery and she took pictures of the headstones...including the 'Saving Private Ryan" brothers' headstones.
The trip on the boat to France was uneventful...although it was short. They lost an hours sleep and were running all day today. Tomorrow she said they don't have to get started until later in the morning. It's about 2 hours to get to Paris. They are 4 to a room tonight and she is having a great time with her roommates.

Who is Kristen rooming with tonight? That is really cool that she took pics of Private Ryan's brother's crosses. If Sammie didn't get pics of them, I would love to have a copy. That movie was incredible. Very sad and moving as to what our soldiers faced (unknowingly). Thanks for sharing. Kathy #5
