Kristen just called us. She was at a phonebooth in Cahersiveen. The phone card worked great. She says it's raining very hard. On their hike today they got wet, but it was fun. Tonight they're going on a scavenger hunt in town, where they ask the locals questions to get clues for finding things.
She's staying at her homestay with the same group of 6 girls she did her project with, which she says is working out well. Two girls per room with a bathroom for each room. She's very happy to be rooming with Tess! They were very tired from the flight and slept very well last night. She didn't like the food very much lastnight but there will be a different menu tonight. She said Tess is doing great. Tess said, "I'm not as homesick as I thought I would be and I'm happy about that." Kristen said Emily doesn't have hives anymore and is doing great. Kristen and Emily know eachother from school in Watertown.

Thanks for passing along a first hand account from Kristen about Emily. It's great to hear the other kids are probably more relaxed about her not being sick anymore!
