A Tent Full of Boys
Eric (#17) just called. First I have to say thanks to Dylan who let Eric use his phone. Anyway, there was a ton of talking and laughter in the background which Eric informed me was a tent full of all 9 boys. They are all in the same tent on the castle grounds and having a blast. They did rappel down the wall and he said that the trebuchet was "really cool" and they did light it on fire. He also broke a board yesterday as someone else said. I asked him if he was having fun and I got a resounding YEAH! I'm not sure if those boys are going to sleep tonight but it was great to hear his voice.

thanks for that. I of course left my cell phone for five minutes and missed Tyler's call. Did sound like they were having a blast(noisey and laughing)
Jack's all about boy scouting and camping - he's been looking forward to this! It's so uplifting to hear how well they are getting along and how much laughter there is --- and we all know laughter is contagious :-D

Tyler did call my husband and he said he couldn't stop talking about what a great day it was. They repelled down the castle, did sports fighting whatever that is),lit the trebuchet and now all the boys are camping out. They were asked to shut their cells off now so if anyone is trying to reach their child that is why you might be able to be connected. Lisa
It is great to hear that the boys are having a lot of fun too. I am also glad that the weather is nice so they could sleep in the tents. Does anyone know if ALL of the kids repelled down the wall? Just curious. Thanks so much for the update. Kathy B. #5
Kirk says there was sword fighting, too! The repelling was a blast and I too heard lots of laughter and chatter in the background.
I'm so happy for all nine of them. I also hope they at least get some sleep tonight.

I didn't hear from Dylan today, (so glad he could help Eric out! :)
but he told me yesterday that he wasn't having a good time, he was having a GREAT time! He sounded so happy, he said he was making a lot of good friends! Thanks to everyone for raising such great kids!
Eric did say he thought "maybe" a couple kids did not reppel but he was not sure. He said he almost didn't but is really glad he did. I forgot to say that I got a "HI" from all the boys. Eric says, "Hey you guys, say Hi to my mom" and they all yelled into the phone. They really sound great.
Just got a call from Kirk. I guess those boys didn't get much sleep last night. No surpirse there! :o)
He said he's still having a great time and that he's "making really good friends." Those are his words, and boy, did he emphasized the REALLY. :o)
