tried to call
Hi all, I tried to get in touch with Emily#27. The hotel has her listed as Emily Kirk instead of Kish. They rang the room at 3 and 3:30 our time. No answer either time.. If anyone talks to their daughters tonite, see if they can tell Emily good nite for me and I hope they have a safe flight. See you all tomorrow. If they land @7pm, when should they be back in Meriden? Phone tree? Maybe an e-mail from Elizabeths husband will be forwarded?

Passed the message along to Jessica, her and Emily have been rooming together lately, Jessica is with Katie and Claire now... Says Emily is good, they all are having a good time in Amsterdam, but all looking forward to coming back home to family. I think they should be home in Meriden about 9:45 p.m. -- if the plane is on time... Jessica is going to text me when she gets to NYC.
They can't answer the phones in the hotel rooms :)
Actually I just talked to Emily. The front desk patched me thru again for the third time (@10pm their time) She said they were having a little farewell pow wow. The phones were in the bathroom so she heard it by chance going in there. She also said to expect them in Meriden between 9:30 & 10 pm. That's what the leaders told them. This is the second time we have talked to her at the hotel. Someone else's mom actually called me on the 17th with a message from Emily to call her in the room. Her phone card was not working and she wanted to hear from us. My husband talked to her then and explained we were told we couldn't call to which she replied "B.S." She said all the moms were calling at night. I don't know. Anyway. They are doing good. She wants me to bring her 2 best friends from here to pick her up so I am trying to arrange that now. See you tomorrow. Thanks again.

hope you are feeling better. You have been through so much these last 3 weeks alone. I bet it'll be great to have Jess home. Just the ease of stress will boost my nerves anyway.I hope they will remain friends after. We live within walking distance!
I spoke with Sammie around 3:30pm our time. She was rooming with Amelia. They were going to stay up until 1am. I guess they were told they could stay up all night if they wanted to. They have to be ready for 9am. I told Sammie to mention to Emily #27 that mom said to have a good night sleep and a safe flight tomorrow. Sammie said that she will mention the message to Emily in the morning. They weren't allowed to leave their rooms.
Sammie never did do another load of laundry. Said some of her clothes (mostly socks and undergarments are smelly). Atleast not her Ambassador Shirt and pants which they need to wear on the plane. So she won't be smelly on the plane. Big Sigh!

Oh, a whole suitcase full of dirty rank boy clothes. I can't wait! :o)
Sleep well tonight everyone! I think we're all going to be up late tomorrow night listing to these kids tell of their adventures.
