FYI - if your child has an ATT phone card like my son Jack (#35). On the backs of their Lanyards are all the international accesscodes by country needed to initiate the call. P2P thinks of everything!
We haven't heard from Ally yet either, but she has a phone card. When our other daughter went on a P2P trip, we didn't hear from her directly for several days. Also the phone tree has not been started as of yet. We have not received a call. Cindy
On the other trips my daughter went on they started phone tree practice by the second meeting and we all had it down pat by the time they left. I think some first time parents just didn't get enough info and practice waiting till the last minute like we did. But I pretty much think they're all ok and we all know that. Phone tree is just to let us know they landed. No real info is ever passed beside that.
Have not heard from Jessica either, but of course she has texted her friends, parents are the last to be be called. She told her friends she was having fun touring castles.
No Phone Tree call here, i heard Elizabeth say that when they landed they would be too busy to call so don't expect one.
Too funny!! I am sure that Ally has contacted her friends as well! By this time, as said, it is almost a mute point. Our other trips, the phone tree did not work either. As long as we all know they are fine, that is all that matters. The Blog is a great way to keep intouch, and informed!
